As Executive Vice President,
Regional Manager of Tiarna’s Southern California
division, R. Scott Alleborn is responsible for
the supervision of the division’s operations,
management, leasing, advisory and accounting
services for the company’s Orange County, Inland
Empire and San Diego portfolios.
Prior to his joining Tiarna,
Mr. Alleborn was employed with the Charles Dunn
Company as the Vice President, Regional Manager
of the Orange County, South Bay, Inland Empire
and San Diego real estate management divisions.
His duties included the supervision of a real
estate portfolio exceeding 7 million square feet
for third party clients.
Before joining the Charles
Dunn Company, Mr. Alleborn was employed as the
Director of Development for The Howard-Platz
Group where he was responsible for the
development, asset management, leasing, and
marketing and tenant improvements of a
commercial office development portfolio of
approximately 1,300,000 square feet. Such
notable projects included 500 North Brand, a
twenty-three story office building supported
by retail; and 500 North Central, a twelve
story office building supported by a
restaurant and a four-plex theater, all of
which are located in Glendale, California.
Prior to this, he worked as a Project Manager
for Robert A. Alleborn Associates where he
directed, managed and developed Century
Centre, a high-rise commercial office
development consisting of approximately
440,000 square feet, located in Irvine,
California. His responsibilities also included
governmental, banking and institutional
relations, new construction, leasing,
marketing, financial analysis, tenant
improvements, and land and sale disposition.
Mr. Alleborn has extensive
experience in the areas of real estate
development, new construction, building
systems, project transition and start-up,
leasing, lease negotiations, lease analysis,
marketing and tenant improvements. Mr.
Alleborn’s experience also extends to building
operations, tenant retention programs,
supervision of engineering, maintenance and
on-site personnel, vendor negotiations and
contracts, emergency building procedures and
inspections, due diligence, management plans,
standard operating procedures, and budget and
accounting requirements.
Mr.
Alleborn graduated from the University of
Southern California with a Bachelor of
Science and Business Administration degree
with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance,
holds a California Real Estate Broker’s
License and is a member of NAIOP. Currently,
he is in the process of obtaining his
Certified Property Manager designation from
the Institute of Real Estate Management
(IREM).
